Every Quick Ship and Custom Design order begins with a complimentary 30-minute video consultation. This is where we make sure your suit, your timeline, and your vision are fully aligned before anything moves forward.

For custom orders, once your suit is in progress, a follow-up fitting consultation is included to fine-tune the details and ensure everything feels perfect.

Refund & Return Policy

Bikini Lab Design Studio does not offer refunds or accept returns.

Every order is custom-made to your specifications — from fabric selection to crystal layout — and production begins specifically for you once an order is placed. Because of this, all sales are final.

Our Commitment to You

  • We stand behind our craftsmanship. All orders are guaranteed for 1 year from the purchase date for the original buyer.

  • While we don’t process refunds or returns, we believe in working with our clients when unexpected situations arise. If something significant comes up, reach out as soon as possible and we’ll walk through next steps together.

What’s Covered

  • Craftsmanship defects or crystal / embellishment repairs within 1 year of purchase

What’s Not Covered

  • Normal wear and tear
  • Damage from improper care
  • Buyer’s remorse or change of mind

Shipping & Production Timeline

Standard Custom Order Timeline

  • Our standard production timeline for custom suits is 12 weeks.

  • This timeline is based on when you want your suit in hand, not your show date.

  • We do not aim to deliver suits right before a competition. Your suit should be fully completed at least 2 weeks before you travel so you have time for final fit checks, posing practice, and peace of mind.

What This Means for You

  • If your show is 12 weeks away, that is not enough time for a standard custom order.

  • To stay on schedule, you should plan for your suit to arrive no later than 2 weeks before travel, which means your order should be placed at least 12 weeks before that delivery date.

Meeting this timeline is the client’s responsibility. Orders placed too close to a show may require rush service or may not be eligible for custom production.

Quick Ship Exception

Our Quick Ship Collection is the only option guaranteed within a 3-week turnaround and is ideal for tighter timelines.

Rush Orders

Rush service may be available for custom orders that need delivery within 6 weeks for an additional $250, subject to availability and approval.

Shipping Notes

  • Live carrier rates will be available at checkout
  • Tracking is provided once your order ships
  • International Orders:
    International orders may be subject to customs duties, taxes, or import fees imposed by the destination country. These charges are not included in your order total and are the responsibility of the purchaser.

What’s Included With Every Order

1. A complimentary 30-minute consultation with our designer. During this call, we’ll discuss:

  • Your competition timeline
  • Measurements and sizing
  • Design and style preferences

2. A measurement reminder at the 12-week mark.
Once measurements are received, we’ll:

  • Source your custom fabrics
  • Cut and sew your suit
  • Mail it to you (return shipping included)

3. A fitting check.
This is where we assess fit and determine if any refinements are needed before final completion. You can either:

  • Hop on a video call
  • Or send photos/videos

Need Additional Support?

Extra consultation time is available in 15-minute increments for a supplemental fee.

This is ideal for:

  • First-time competitors
  • Athletes who want extra feedback or reassurance
  • Complex design visions
  • Clients who prefer more frequent check-ins

What to Expect – Design Process

Step 1: Place Your Order
All custom and quick ship orders begin with full payment at checkout. This secures your place in our production schedule.

Step 2: Give Us More Details Via Email
After placing your order, you’ll receive an email where you will share your check-in photos (front, back, and side posts), measurements, and schedule your complimentary 30-minute video consultation with our designer.

Step 3: Design Consultation
During your consultation, we’ll walk through:

  • Your measurements and fit considerations
  • Competition category and timeline
  • Style direction, colors, and crystal vision
  • Overall design approach and expectations

Step 4: Production Begins
Once measurements are confirmed, your suit moves into production. This includes fabric sourcing, cutting, construction, and crystal application.

Step 5: Delivery & Fit Check
Your suit will be mailed to you and return shipping will be included, if needed. As soon as you receive your suit, please:

  • Try it on
  • And share photos or videos with Charissa or schedule a quick video check-in

This step helps us determine if any refinements are needed before final completion.
